EMS new version Released

The Edge Matching Service new version is already available here
Some of new features:
  • Minor Bugs have been fixed
  • Coordinate Transformation Service included inside release
  • Compatibility with WDCS improved

The user documentation has been also uptaded. It is published in http://community.esdi-humboldt.eu/wiki/ems/User_documentation_for_the_Edge_Matching_Service

The user documentation of the Edge Matching Service has been updated with the configuration steps of the server and the use of the service from one WPS client (OpenJUMP). Some examples of usage have been documented refered to Protected Areas scenario. A set of snapshots describes the process in a detailed way.

Edge Matching Service available

The Edge Matching Service is now available. This service is a OGC WPS 1.0.0 for aligning edges and points of vector geometries. You can find more information about the EMS scope here.

This release includes:
  • DatasetCleaning implementation
  • CoverageAligner implementation on align-to-reference mode
  • Adding Lineage documentation extending ISO 19115
  • GML 2.1.2 is supported as input

You can download a packaged version of EMS from here
However, please be aware that this software is still in early stages of development. Currently we are working for the improvement of the CoverageAligner implementation on distribute-errors mode because some bugs were found here.
